For those who use new sewing machines, it can be difficult to thread the sewing machine and can even delay sewing. But once you learn how to wire the device, it gets used to it and gets easier every time.
1. Place the bobbin on the bobbin. Place the bobbin on the sewing machine. Turn the bobbin counterclockwise to release the yarn.
Check the mark on the top of the device before installing the coil. There is a small icon at the top that indicates where certain devices should go
2. Disconnect the wires. Pull and pull the thread and wrap it around the tension disc that turns the bobbin at the top of the sewing machine. This section is on the opposite side of the sewing machine, above the needle. There may also be a wire attached to the disk to hold the wire in place.
3. Wind the bobbin. Then take the end of the wire and insert it into the hole in the coil. Then wrap the yarn around the bobbin several times to secure it.
Remember that craft stores also have ready-made yarn wheels if you don’t want to make your own yarn.
4. Place the coil on the coil end. The bobbin is a small pin, usually located at the top of the tube, near the bobbin pin. Connect the coil to this pin. Then move the pin to the right and close the coil to turn.
If you tighten the coil, you should hear it snap into place.
5. Start the wrapper. Start spinning the bobbin for a few seconds by pressing the operating foot or pressing the spin button (if your machine has one). Doing this will ensure that the thread is securely attached to the bobbin. After a few twists, you can stop and cut off any excess yarn sticking out of the bobbin hole.
6. Install the coil. Gently press the floor pedal again or repeat the pressure to fully fill the bobbin with yarn. The winder of your bobbin may release itself when the bobbin is full, but otherwise, it will stop when the yarn is nearly taut at the bobbin end.
7. Remove the coil. Move the spool pin to the left and remove the bobbin. The yarn is still attached to the bobbin and bobbin, so scissors off the excess yarn, leaving a 2-3" (5.1-7.6 cm) tail.
Once your bobbin is full, you can start cutting the mesh.
